6	CONFIGURING THE NIC

Overview

This chapter describes how to conﬁgure the NIC.

Before you change the NIC conﬁguration settings, contact your system administrator.

Default NIC Settings

The table below lists the conﬁguration settings for the NIC. The default setting is shown in uppercase in the Settings column.

Option	Description	Settings

NetBoot ROM	Provides the ability to boot a PC over the	■	ENABLED
