Control Port
The eight-position modular jack labeled CONTROL provides connection to a VT 100 RS-232 compatible interface. This enables the FSU to be configured through a terminal instead of the front panel. Use the VT 100 terminal cable (provided) for this connec- tion. See the appendix Pinouts for the connector pin assign- ments. A description of the operation of this port is covered in the chapter Operation.
