IMPORTANT: Android manages and carefull y guards the
portion of internal sto rage where the system, apps, an d
most data for those apps are sto red, becaus e this area may
contain your private infor mation. It’s not possib le to view
this portion of interna l storage when you con nect your de-
vice to a computer with a USB ca ble. The other port ion of
internal storage, wh ere music, down loaded les, and so on
are stored, remains visible for your convenience.
You’re able to optimize your memo ry usage by:
• Uninstalling apps you don’t use.
• Deleting downloaded les or les you create d a nd c opying
them over to a computer via USB.
• Removing content from Go ogle Play that’s saved for offl ine
use and streaming it via a Wi -Fi or mobile ne twork.
Use the Apps screen
Settings
The Apps screen allows yo u to adjust several as-
pects of the way your device use s memory. To view
these settings, go to Settings > Devic e > Apps.
