Read your messages

• From a Home or A pps screen , nd the G mail app an d double-
tap to open it. Gmail opens to yo ur Inbox.
To hear the subject lines of your co nversations, swipe right o r
down. When you nd a convers ation you want to hear :
• Double-tap to open it . If you have chosen to allow enh anced
web accessibility, you ca n touch once to hear a c onversation.
• To navigate back to your Inbox, nd the Gmail icon at the top of
the screen and double-tap.
OR
Using the Navigation but tons at the bottom of th e screen, nd
and double-tap the Ba ck button, or sw ipe down then lef t using
a single motion.

Compose and send a message

1. From a conversation list, nd the Comp ose icon a t the top of
the screen and double-tap.
2. To use the key board to ll in the To , Subje ct, and Compose
email elds, slide your  nger acros s the keyboard a nd lift your
nger on the chosen key to inp ut text.
