Privacy & accounts
Some settings differ for And roid 4.1.2 and earlier.
These settings contro l the account for use with Goo gle Search
and search-related p rivacy optio ns for that acco unt. You can view
them in two ways:
• From the Google Now screen: Menu > Settings > Privacy &
accounts.
• From your tablet’s main Se ttings app: Settings > Accounts
> Google > Search.
Touch each setting to learn mo re:
• Google Account. The account used with Goog le Search and
Google Now.
• Manage location history. Opens Google Maps settings, wh ere
you turn location setti ngs and location r eporting on o r off.
• Google location settin gs. Lets you turn loca tion access by all
Google apps on or off. If loc ation access is turn ed on for your
tablet, you can turn Goog le apps access off here w ithout af-
fecting access by non- Google apps.
• Show recent searches. Check if you want search sugge stions
based on your recent searches.
• Manage Web History. Opens yo ur Web History settings in a
browser. You may have to sign in to reach the m.
