You can manage the security s ettings for your tab let by going to
Settings > Personal > Security.
• Screen security. Manage screen lock options, su ch as using
the Power button to lock your s creen.
• Encryption. Encrypt the data on your ta blet.
• SIM card lock. Set up a PIN to lock your tablet’s S IM card.
• Passwords. Make passwords visible, whic h helps you to enter
a password that is more compl ex and secure.
• Device administration. Manage device administrators, allow
apps to be installed from sou rces other than the Play Sto re,
and choose to verify apps f rom all sources.
• Credential storage. Manage, inst all, or clear certi cates on
your tablet.
TIP: Touch Owner info (o r User Info, for other u sers) under
Screen Security to en ter information that’s displaye d on
the lock screen. This is us eful in case you lose o r misplace
your tablet.
