After resetting your tab let, you’ll nee d to re-enter the s ame in-
formation requested when you rst set up your tab let. If you’ve
been backing up your dat a to a Google accoun t, an option dur-
ing the setup process allo ws you to restore it.
Some third-part y apps also make use of th e backup servi ce, so if
you reinstall one, its set tings and data are re stored.
Add or remove accounts
If your tablet has multiple u sers, each has separate account
settings.

Add an account

To add some accounts, you may nee d to obtain details fro m sys-
tem administrator about t he service to which the ac count con-
nects. For example, you ma y need to know the acc ount’s domain
or server address.
1. Go to Setting s > Accounts > Add acc ount.
2. Touc h the kind of accou nt to add.
3. Foll ow the on-screen instructions.
Most accounts require a us ername and pass word, but the det ails
depend on the kind of account and the congurati on of the ser-
vice you’re connecting to .
Depending on the kin d of ac count, yo u may b e asked to cong -
ure what kinds of data you want to sy nc, name the accou nt, and
other details.
When you’re nished, th e account is adde d in one of two places:
• Google Accounts show up un der Setti ngs > Account s > Google.
• Other accounts show up u nder Settings > Ac counts.
