Menu > Settings > Google Now, and adj ust the settings u n-
der Notications.
To change ringtone and vibrate options fo r all stan dard notic a-
tions, start from the Go ogle Now screen, touch Menu > Set-
tings > Google Now, and adjust t he settings under Standard
Notications.
Turn off Google Now
Turning off Google Now stops th e display of cards and return s
Google Now settings to the ir defaults.
1. Open the Goo gle Now screen.
Touch Google on a Hom e screen, or swip e up from the botto m
of your tablet while viewi ng any screen.
2. To uch Menu > Settings > Google Now, then slide the switch
at the top right to Off.
3. I n the Turn off Now cards d ialog, deci de whether you a lso want
to turn off location histo ry. If you do, check Also turn off Loc a-
tion histo ry.
Turning off location histor y may affect the way othe r Google
products work.
4. To uch Turn o ff.
Turning off Google Now and loc ation history doesn’t d elete ex-
isting history or turn off location reporting. For more informa-
