To change ringtone and vibrate options for all standard notifica- tions, start from the Google Now screen, touch Menu > Set- tings > Google Now, and adjust the settings under Standard
Notifications.
Turn off Google Now
Turning off Google Now stops the display of cards and returns Google Now settings to their defaults.
1.Open the Google Now screen.
Touch Google on a Home screen, or swipe up from the bottom of your tablet while viewing any screen.
2.Touch Menu > Settings > Google Now, then slide the switch at the top right to Off.
3.In the Turn off Now cards dialog, decide whether you also want to turn off location history. If you do, check Also turn off Loca- tion history.
Turning off location history may affect the way other Google products work.
4.Touch Turn off.
Turning off Google Now and location history doesn’t delete ex- isting history or turn off location reporting. For more informa- tion, see the next section, “Control location access, reporting & history.”
