Connect to Bluetooth devices

If your tablet has multiple u sers, each ca n change the glo bal Bue-

tooth settings.

To conne ct to a Blue tooth device , rst tur n on your ta blet’s

Bluetooth. The n, the rst time you use a new Bluetooth device,

you need to “pair” it with you r tablet so that both devic es know

how to connect securely to e ach other. After that, the y connect

automatically.

TIP: To extend the li fe of your battery between ch arges,

turn off Bluetooth when yo u’re not using it . You may also be

required to turn Bluetoot h off in some locatio ns. Bluetooth

is turned off when you switc h to Airplane mod e.

Turn Bluetooth on or off

1. Tou ch Settings > Wireless & networ ks.

2. S lide the Bluetoot h switch on or off.

Change your tablet’s Blue tooth name

Your tablet has a generic Blu etooth name by defa ult, which is vis -

ible to other Bluetooth devi ces when you conne ct them. You can

change the name so that it is mo re recognizabl e.

1. Under Se ttings > Wireless & network s, make sure Bluetooth

is turned on.
