Setting | Function |

Change | Enter the old account password. Enter a new password, and then |
Password | reenter the password to confirm it. Or, do not enter anything to |
| leave the password unchanged. |

|
OSD Activation | Selects which Hotkey activates the OSD function: |
| [Scroll Lock] [Scroll Lock] or [Ctrl] [Ctrl]. |
| Since the Ctrl key combination may conflict with programs running |
| on the computers, the default is the Scroll Lock combination. |
|
|
Set Logout | This function allows you to specify the number of minutes to elapse |
Timeout | before an inactive user is timed out of the OSD. If there is no input |
| from the user for the specified amount of time, the user will be |
| logged out automatically. |
|
|
Screen Blanker | If there is no input from the console for the amount of time set with |
| this function, the screen is blanked. Key in a value from |
| minutes, then press [Enter]. A setting of 0 disables this function. |
| The default is 0 (disabled). |
|
|
Hotkey | Enables / Disables the Hotkey Command function in case a |
Command | conflict with programs running on the computers occurs. The |
| default is enabled. |
|
|
Set Beeper | When set to ON, the beeper sounds whenever the port is switched, |
| when activating the Auto Scan function (see page 97), or when an |
| invalid entry is made on an OSD menu. The default is ON. |
|
|
Set Idle Timeout | If there is no input from the console accessing a particular port for |
| the amount of time set with this function, the port is released, |
| allowing it to be accessed by the other consoles. |
| To set the timeout value, key in a number from |
| then press [Enter]. |
| If the number is 0 [zero], this function is disabled. The default is 5 |
| seconds. |
