Description

2-Second Output

22

Provides a 2-second output.

“And” this function to another function for a 2-second output. Refer to the Relay

1 Logic 1 and Relay 2 Logic 1 prompts in Section 13.1 Relay Function Logic.

For example “anding” this function to the Follow Point function results in a 2-

second relay activation on a point fault.

2-Second Output does not activate when alarms from A, B, C keys occur.

Note:

Do not “and” this function to the A,B,C Key, Momentary, A,B,C Key, Pulse, Ground

Start, or Follow Alarm Output functions.

Do not use this function for both Relay 1 and Relay 2.

RF, Light Key

23

Pressing the [Light] key (light bulb graphic) on RF keypads toggles this relay off

and on.

Voice Request

24

The Voice Request Relay function is intended for use with an optional two-way

voice verification module.

The Voice Request Relay activates for 2 seconds when the acknowledgment of an Alarm Report from an Alarm Report Delay point

(Digit 2 = 2, 3, 7, or 8) is received at the control panel.

Control panels with firmware revision 2.5 or earlier, Relay Function 24 does not provide the Voice Request Relay function. For those control panels, Relay Function 24 is RF Special Key.

13.3Relay Parameters, for Keypad Programming Only

The parameter prompts shown in Table 19 are for programming from the keypad.

If you did not program one of the Relay functions (the first four prompts in this group) with a Relay function from 1 to 9 (refer to Table 18) or you left the Relays Group prompts at their defaults, leave the prompts in Table 19 at their defaults.

If you selected a Relay function from 1 to 9, you need to program a parameter for that function. Read the instructions carefully.

Each relay parameter has its own group. Each prompt in the group allows you to assign a point or user to the Relay function. For example, if you chose Alarm for Relay 1 Function 1, use the prompts in Group 18, Relay 1, Func 1 Parameter to tell the system which points you want to activate the relay.
