MODE SWITCH BANK SETTINGS

This appendix covers the following items:

•Required tools (Section B.1)

•Locations, functions, and settings for the mode switches (Section B.2)

B.1 REQUIRED TOOLS

You need the following tools to perform the procedures provided in this appendix:

•Antistatic wrist strap (provided with 6C105 chassis)

B.2 SETTING THE MODE SWITCH

These switches are set at the factory and do not need to be changed unless you intend to perform the following:

•Force download a new image ﬁle from a BootP server.

•Clear NVRAM and restore all user-entered parameters such as the IP address and Subnet Masks to the 6H122-16 “Default” conﬁguration settings.

•Clear user-entered passwords stored in NVRAM and restore the default passwords.

The 6H122-16 is sensitive to static discharges. Use an

!antistatic wrist strap and observe all static precautions during

this procedure. Failure to do so could damage the 6H122-16.CAUTION
