3.9.3 Connecting STP Segments

Use TPIM-T1 to connect STP segments. Before connecting a segment to the TPIM-T1, conﬁrm proper pinouts at each end of the segment.

To connect a TPIM-T1 to a Twisted Pair Segment:

1.Insert the DB9 connector on the segment into the DB9 port on the TPIM as shown in Figure 3-15.
