5.3.3The SNMP Traps Screen

The SNMP Traps screen lets you designate which management workstations receive trap messages. Figure 5-7 shows the SNMP Traps screen.

The following sections provide a brief explanation of each field on the SNMP Traps screen and instructions for using them.

Trap Destination

Indicates the IP Address of the workstation that will receive trap alarms from the TRXI.

Trap Community Name

Displays the user-defined name of the SNMP Compliant Network Management Workstations to receive trap alarms from the TRXI.

Enable Traps

Enables the transmission of SNMP trap messages.
