Chapter 23 Configuring Network Address Translation
NAT Policies on Security Devices
For detailed information on editing firewall rules cells, see Editing Rules, page 12-9.
Navigation Path
Right-click the Translated Address cell in the Static Rules table (on the NAT > Translation Rules page)
and choose Edit Translated Address.
Advanced NAT Options Dialog Box
Use the Advanced NAT Options dialog box to configure the advanced connection settings—DNS
Rewrite, Maximum TCP and Maximum UDP Connections, Embryonic Limit, Timeout (PIX 6.x), and
Randomize Sequence Number—for NAT and Policy NAT. You can also configure these options for
Translation Exemption (NAT 0 ACL) rules on an FWSM.
