Preparing for Installation
Verifying Package Contents
Note Carefully remove the contents from the shipping container, and check each item for damage. If any item is missing or damaged, contact your Cisco representative or reseller for support. Return all packing material to the shipping container, and save it.
The switch is shipped with these items:

•The Catalyst 3750G Integrated Wireless LAN Controller Switch Getting Started Guide
•The Regulatory Compliance and Safety Information for the Catalyst 3750 Switch
•AC power cord
•DC terminal block plug
•One
•Mounting kit containing:
–Four rubber feet for mounting the switch on a table
–Two
–Four Phillips
–Six Phillips
–Four Phillips machine screws for attaching the brackets to a rack
–One cable guide and one black Phillips machine screw for attaching the cable guide to one of the mounting brackets
–One RPS connector cover (for wall mounting)
–Two Phillips
–Four Phillips

Verifying Switch Operation
Before you install the switch in a rack, on a wall, or on a table or shelf, you should power on the switch and verify that the switch passes POST. See the “Running Express Setup” section in the getting started guide for the steps required to connect a PC to the switch and to run Express Setup.
