When you are trying to use this function, it is highly recommended that the password should be turned ON in the SYSTEM menu not to enable unauthorized personnel to access your DVR system (See section 7-2.3).

Up to 10 users can remotely access your DVR with the HOST NAME.

How to setup the Internet Explorer

•Registration to the www.dyndns.org (See section 7-7.7.2 on page 123).

•In the IP address box of Microsoft Internet Explorer, type the HOSET NAME (See Fig.8- 2) you entered in the DDNS menu and the PORT NUMBER of the DVR, and then you will be asked to install the AciveX control software (See Fig.8-3). You should type the protocol (http://), the host name (example: cloverdvr1.dyndns.org) or the static IP address (See Fig.8-2-1) and the port number (:5800) in the IP Address box.
