Switch Information

This window is used to enter name, location, and contact information. Click Apply to activate the new settings. The information is described as follows:
| Parameter | Description | |
| Device Type | A description of the Switch type. | |
| MAC Address | The Ethernet address for the device. Also known as the physical address. | |
| Boot PROM Version | Version number for the firmware chip. This information is needed for new runtime | |
|
| software downloads. | |
| Firmware Version | Version number of the firmware installed on the Switch. This can be updated by using | |
|
| the Download Firmware from TFTP Server window in the TFTP Services folder | |
|
| (Maintenance → TFTP Services → Download Firmware from TFTP Server). | |
| Hardware Version | Version of the Switch hardware. | |
| System Name | A | |
| System Location | A | |
| System Contact | Name of the person to contact should there be any problems or questions with the | |
|
| system. You may also want to include a phone number or extension. | |
