1. Press <Ctrl+R> while restarting the server, and then select the required controller.
2. Press <F2> and select the Convert to RAID capable option, and then complete the operation.
NOTE:
This task is not supported on PERC hardware controllers running in HBA mode.
This task is only supported as a staged operation.

Convert To Non-RAID Disk

This task converts a disk to a Non-RAID disk. After converting a disk to non- RAID, the disk is exposed to
the operating system unlike unconfigured good disks and it enables usage of disk in direct pass-through
mode.
This task is supported on H310 and H330 controllers.
NOTE: This task is not supported on PERC hardware controllers running in HBA mode.

Creating Virtual Disks

To implement RAID functions, you must create a virtual disk. A virtual disk refers to storage created by a
RAID controller from one or more physical disks. Although a virtual disk may be created from several
physical disks, it is seen by the operating system as a single disk.
