NOTICE: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching a connector on the back panel of the computer.
NOTICE: To avoid damaging the system board, you must remove the main battery before you begin working inside the computer.
1Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" (see page 103).
NOTICE: Before turning the computer over and removing the screws, ensure that the display is firmly latched closed.
2Turn the computer over and remove the four screws (two on each side) labeled "D" on the bottom of the computer.

3Turn the computer
4Remove the left, right, and center hinge covers (see page 121).
5Disconnect the antenna cables (pull to separate the connectors).
