The recovery CD can only be used with IEI products. The software will fail to run and a warning message will appear when used on non-IEI hardware.

Prior to using the recovery tool to backup or restore system, a few setup procedures are required.

Step 1: Hardware and BIOS setup

Step 2: Create partitions

Step 3: Install operating system, drivers and system applications.

Step 4: Build-up recovery partition

Step 5: Create factory default image
