Loading single sheets from the rear

1. Make sure the front and rear paper guides are attached.

2. Push the paper thickness lever to the single-sheet position.

3. Pull out the front paper guide extension until it is fully

extended if you plan to stack the printed sheets.

4. Turn on the printer. The Power light comes on.

When the printer ejects the paper, the Paper Out flashes and the Pause light comes on. Continuous paper The printer does not load continuous paper. Paper feeding is crooked or the paper jams. 8-12 The top-of-form position of your continuous paper varies when you print several pages. The printer prints on (or too far away from) the perforation of your continuous paper. The printer does not eject your continuous paper properly. 8-14 Page The cut-sheet feeder feeds more than one sheet at a time. Paper feeding is crooked. 8-16 When the printer ejects the paper, the Paper Out flashes and the Pause light comes on. One page of your document is printed on two pages.
