When recording is enabled, measurements are stored in memory at the set period. The data is highly compressed digitally to achieve a high storage density. This is done by storing data in blocks, headed by product and sensor identification and time information that applies to subsequent measurements up to the start of the next data block. A new data block is started when the thermo-hygrometer is powered on, when record setting parameters are changed, and when data is printed or written to a file. A new data block is also started when the date or time is set, when the date changes, and at regular intervals depending on the record period. Thus data blocks may contain various quantities of measurements.
