5Locate an available slot and remove the slot cover by removing the screw that secures it in place, then pull out the slot cover.

6Insert the bottom edge of the expansion card (the keyed edge with the contacts) into the slot on the system board and push in firmly to seat the card.

7Replace the screw you removed earlier.

8Connect any cables to the card (see card documentation for proper cable orientation).
