Screening Calls

You canset the answering machine so that you can hear messages as they arebeing recorded. You can then choose to pick up the telephone. The defaultsetting for Call Screening is On.

1Press Menu.

1:Fax Functions will display.

2Press 6.

6:TAM Setup will display.

3Press Enter.

1:Message Length will display.

4Press 2.

2:Call Screening will display.

5Press Enter.

On	* will display.
6 Use the arrow buttons (		) to choose between On and Off and
press Enter.

7 Press Cancel repeatedly to exit the menu.

Tip! If you pick up an extension phone while the HP Fax is playing the OGM or recording a message, pressing * then # on the extension phone will turn off the answering machine.
