Monitor Test: This test is used to determine if the HP OfficeJet Series 300 is sensing calling CNG tone, which would cause the unit to interrupt a voice Fax/TAM receive mode. Two modes are available in this test, On-hoo Off-hook monitor tests. Pressing theA) leftbuttonarrowwill( toggle between the two monitor modes.The Off-hook monitor mode simply detect presence of a dial tone. The On-hook monitor mode detects the pr ring and calling (CNG) tone. The number of rings detected as well frequency is displayed when the HP OfficeJet Series 300 is called. If a t handset or answering machineanswers the call, the number of detected is displayed. PressingStopbuttonhe will exit the test.

LIU Test:This test will check the following line interface unit functions

2.LIU inputs

3.LIU outputs

The LIU identification includes the country-specific option and LIU level. LIU codes and their associated country assignments are as

	The LIU outputs detected are defined as follows:

		pulse dialing
	sh	press the3 button to activate the shunt relay (used only
		Europe)
	gr	press the4 button to activate the ground start relay (use
		German PBX systems)
Tel Test:	Tests the dialing capability of the HP OfficeJet Series 300 without hav
	the Fax portion of the mechanism.
Bench Run Test:	Allows testing of the HP OfficeJet Series 300 in unattended mode. Pap
	be loaded in the input tray and up to twenty documents should
	automatic document feeder. Both printing and scanning function

The two bench run optionsavailable are:

1. Extended Bench Run – allows you to select how long to perfor run test

2. Start std Bench Run – (standard test) runs through 120 cycles of th test

Note:The only way to exit the bench run test is to power the unit
