Install a media roll in the printer
CAUTION Do not touch heater surfaces in the media path. This may cause burns.
Handle media rolls with care. They can be heavy and difficult to move in confined spaces. In some cases, two people should move and install media rolls. Dropping a media roll could cause personal injury or damage to the printer.
NOTE You can increase or reduce the printhead height depending on the thickness of the media you are using. See How do I… Change the printhead height

Make sure the printer wheels are locked (the brake lever is pressed down) (1) to prevent the printer from moving.
How do I load/unload media
The printer's front panel messages will guide you through the process of loading media.
The printer comes with two roll stops and spacers that are inserted into each end of the roll core tube.
