DISPlay

The DISPlay subsystem monitors the channel state of a selected module (or card) in a switchbox. This subsystem only operates with mainframes that have a display, such as the HP 75000 Series B Mainframe (HP Model Number E1301A).

Subsystem Syntax

DISPlay

 

:MONitor

 

:CARD <number AUTO>

 

[:STATe] <mode>

 

[:STATe]?

:MONitor:CARD

DISPlay:MONitor:CARD <number AUTO> selects the module in a

 

switchbox to be monitored when the monitor mode is enabled. Use the

 

DISPlay:MONitor:STATe command to enable and disable the monitor mode.

Comments

Selecting a Specific Module to be Monitored: Use the

 

DISPlay:MONitor:CARD command to send the card number in a

 

switchbox to be monitored.

 

 

Selecting the Present Module to be Monitored: Use the

DISPlay:MONitor AUTO command to select the last module addressed by a switching command (e.g.,[ROUTe:]CLOSe).

*RST Condition: DISPlay:MONitor:CARD AUTO

Example Select Module #2 in a Switchbox for Monitoring

DISP:MON:CARD 2

Selects module #2 in a switchbox

 

to be monitored when the mode is

 

enabled.
