Information Necessary for Printer Setup

Youshould complete all of “Chapter 1. Printer Setup” to fully prepare your printer for
your environment. Youmust continue with “Chapter 2. Considering Other Forms
Paths” on page33 if you need to set up a different forms path.
Toset up your printer, you will need the following information:
vIs a forms path required other than the Front Push forms path?
The 4247 Printer is shipped to you with the Front Push forms path set as the
default. IBM recommends you consider this your primary forms path and use it
whenever possible. If you do not intend to keep the Front Push as your primary
forms path, “Chapter 2. Considering Other Forms Paths”on page 33 will guide
you through making another selection, after you verify correct operation of the
Front Push forms path and the Manual Sheet Feed.
