AJUSTE DE LA VÁLVULA DE CONTROL DE MODULACIÓN

Asegurarse de que el compresor esté aislado del sistema de aire comprimiendo cerrando la válvula de aislamiento y descargando presión del conducto de purga.

Asegurarse de que el interruptor principal de desconexión de la alimentación se haya bloqueado en posición abierta y se haya etiquetado.

1.Poner el compresor en el modo de MODULACIÓN colocando el interruptor selector de control SS en la posición de ”MODULACIÓN”. (Modelos que no cuenten con Intellisys).

2.Extraer el tapón de plástico de 6 mm (1/4”) de la conexión en T (18) en la válvula del regulador.

Conectar un manómetro a este puerto.

3.Aflojar la contratuerca del tornillo de ajuste y retirar el tornillo de ajuste 3 vueltas. Consultar la figura 2.

4.Colocar el interruptor principal de desconexión de la alimentación en la posición de ACTIVADO.

5.Abrir la válvula de aislamiento y arrancar el compresor.

6.Ajustar la válvula de aislamiento para que la presión de aire de descarga alcance la presión de descarga nominal (6,8, 8,6, 9,6 ó 13,7 barg [100, 125, 140, ó 200 psig]).

7.Mientras se mantiene la presión de descarga nominal, girar el tornillo de ajuste en la válvula de modulación (consultar la figura 2) hasta que en el manómetro de prueba se registre:

2 barg (30 psig) para modular 60% cfm.

Apretar la contratuerca del tornillo de ajuste.

8.Pulsar STOP DESCARGA. Esperar a que la presión del colector descienda a 0 barg (0 psig).

Cerrar la válvula de aislamiento o purgar todo el aire del sistema.

9.Colocar el compresor en el modo de control deseado.

10.Extraer el manómetro de prueba y colocar el tapón de plástico de 6 mm (1/4”).
