Router Chassis

The router chassis is a rigid sheet metal structure that houses the other hardware components. The chassis is 17.5 in. (44.5 cm) wide and 18 in. (45.7 cm) deep. The chassis height of 8.7 in. (22.1 cm) enables stacked installation of eight M10i routers in a single floor-to-ceiling rack. For more information, see “Rack Requirements” on page 42.

The two mounting brackets (one on each side) extend the chassis width to 19 in. (48.3 cm).

Figure 1 and Figure 2 show front and rear views of the router chassis.
