REMOVING THE LID

WARNING

Electrical Shock Hazard

Disconnect power before servicing.

Replace all parts and panels before operating.

Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock.

1.Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power.

2.Turn off the water going to the dishwasher.

3.Disconnect the drain line from the dish- washer.

4.Remove dishwasher drawer for the lid you wish to service (see page 4-9 for the procedure).

5.Position the dishwasher drawer to the side, out of the way. Be careful not to stress the hoses and wiring.

NOTE: There are four locking arms inside the cabinet, (two on each side, as shown below), holding the lid in place. You will need to release these four arms to remove the lid.

6.Insert a regular screwdriver blade into the slot of one of the front locking arms.

7.Pry down on the screwdriver far enough to fully depress the locking arm.

8.Pull down on the lid so it just clears the arm.

9.Repeat the previous steps for the remain- ing front, and then two rear locking arms.

10.Position the lid so it is in the two indents in the sides of the cabinet, and remove the lid from the unit.

NOTE: Check the rubber seals on the top of the lid for wear. Replace the lid, if necessary.
