INSTALLING THE DISHWASHER

WARNING

Excessive Weight Hazard

Use two or more people to move and install dishwasher.

Failure to do so can result in back or other injury.

1.Check that the cabinet opening measure- ments, electrical requirements and water requirements are met.

2.Prepare the cabinet opening by applying self-adhesive moisture protection tape to the dry dust-free underside of the counter- top.

Slide the brackets under the raised tabs. Using the flat side of the side cutting pliers, lightly tap the brackets into place. Make sure the locking tabs on the brackets have passed completely through the raised tabs on the dishwasher.

7.If you are using the factory-installed power cable and plug, proceed to the “Power Supply Cord” section.

If you are direct wiring the dishwasher, proceed to the “Direct Wiring” section.

3.Turn water supply off.

4.Place cardboard, or other protective cov- ering, on the floor in front of cabinet open- ing. Place the dishwasher on the covering.

5.Decide which attaching tabs to use to secure the dishwasher. The four side at- taching tabs are recommended.

6.If the countertop material permits, and the optional top attaching brackets will be used, install them now.

Do not open dishwasher drawer until inside cabinet opening.

Doing so can cause serious injury.
