	Darkness	Lighten or darken the output.
	1–9	Note: 5 is the factory default setting.
	Orientation	Specify the page orientation of the scanned image.

		• Letter is the U.S. factory default setting.

	JPEG Quality	Set the quality of a JPEG photo image in relation to the file size and quality of the

	5–90	Notes:
		• “Best for content” is the factory default setting.
		• 5 reduces the file size, but the quality of the image is lessened.
		• 90 provides the best image quality, but the file size is very large.
		• This menu setting applies to all scan functions.
