Installing the Battery

See “Setting Up Your Device” on page 19.

Removing the Battery

1.Make sure the power is turned off so that you don’t lose any unsaved items.

2.Hold the phone with both hands and use the fingertip cutout located on top of the cover to pull it open and remove it (as demonstrated below).

3.Lift the battery using the fingertip cutout located at the top of the battery compartment and remove it from the device.

WARNING: Do not handle a damaged or leaking Li-Ion battery as you can be burned.

Charging the Battery

Keeping track of your battery’s charge is important. If your battery level becomes too low, your device automatically turns off, and you will lose any information you were working on.

Always use a LG-approved desktop charger, travel charger, or vehicle power adapter to charge your battery.

1.Connect the USB cable into the wall/USB charger. When connecting, as shown below, the LG logo on the USB cable should face toward you.
