5.4 ALARM SETTING
This menu allows users to program the configuration of alarm recor ding only when an alarm input is
activated. The device will record as long as the alarm input is activated.
ALM OPERATION:
This option determines whether to activate/deactivate the alarm recording when it detects an alarm input.
ON: The device activates the alarm recording when it detects an alarm signal from LANCAM.
OFF: The device ignores the alarm signal when it detects an alarm signal from LANCAM.
ALM DURATION:
This option allows users to set alarms for a certain duration. You can select one of the six following
options: 0 SEC, 30SEC, 1 MIN, 5 MIN, 10 MIN, and NON-STOP.

MAX REC RATE:
This option is the number of pictures recorded every second i nto a storage disk when an alarm input is
activated. There are 2 different record speeds you can sel ect UNLIMIT or REM AIN. If you select
REMAIN for use, the device will record images at the same speed as set on the REC page.
PRE- ALARM:
This option determines that images prior to an alarm occurs will be recorded in the hard-disk drive.
When an alarm is triggered the device will record the image prior to the alarm for up to 256 images.
ON: Enables this function.
OFF: Disables this function.
NOTE: If the device is already under recording mode before alarm occur, the pre-alarm
recording would not take effect.
