Procedure for bringing up the screen [Initial screen]

[Setting]

[Memory]

Touching the [SRAM] key deletes clock data and Hold PLC Device data held in the SRAM.

Touching the [FROM] key deletes screen data and main unit configuration settings saved to the main unit user memory (F–ROM).

When either of the above keys is touched, a confirmation message reading is displayed. To clear the data, touch the key. A buzzer sounds, and the memory is cleared. When the buzzer stops sounding, the memory has been completely cleared.

SHORTCUTS

[RETURN]To complete the settings and return to the previous screen, touch the [ESC] key.

CAUTION

[SRAM] initialization deletes the Hold PLC Device data backed up in the SRAM. Please be sure that you want to do this before initializing the SRAM.

[FROM] initialization deletes the base screen data, the main unit configuration setting data (the main unit configuration setting data returns to the default values) and contrast adjustment setting data (the contrast returns to the default value) in the user memory (F–ROM) of the main unit. Before initializing the F–ROM, always save screen data to a floppy disk or another medium with GTWIN.

5.3.7Test Mode: “Self–Diagnosis”

Touching the [Test] key on the initial screen of the system menu displays the self–diagnosis screen. This is used to run a hardware check of the memory, buzzers, and other elements of the GT10.
