6.3Entering Configuration Settings from the GT30

6.3.1What is the System Menu?

The system menu is a dedicated screen on which configuration settings for the GT30 are entered. Some of the items that can be specified here can also be set using GTWIN screen creation tool and then sent to the GT30, but others, such as the internal clock and adjustments to the LCD contrast level, can only be set using the system menu. This section explains how configuration settings are entered using the system menu.

6.3.2Bringing Up the System Menu

The following procedure is used to bring up the system menu.

(1) Touch the four corners of the LCD touch panel simultaneously.

Touch these four corners at the same time, and continue pressing them for about one second.

(2) The initial screen of the system menu is displayed.

The initial screen of the system menu is displayed on the GT30. Touching the [ESC] key exits the system menu and returns to the normal operating mode.
