Confirmation of the ft Control Software Version

The following describes how to check the version of ft control software, which consists of various types of software for fault tolerance. Perform the procedure when you need to check the ft control software version of the current system before adding units or attachment to NEC Express5800/ft series.

A tool for checking the version is provided. Confirm the version following the steps below:

1.Log in the system as an authorized Administrator.

2.Insert the provided “NEC EXPRESSBUILDER” CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive. Use the NEC Express5800/ft series ft Update CD, if it is available.

3.Run the tool installed in the CD to check the version of ft control software. Tool name: ftVerChk.exe

Location: <CD-ROM drive>: FTSVTOOL\VERSION

The ft control software version of the current system is displayed.

This completes confirmation of the version.
