Note: If you restart the system without deleting the disconnected option boards, the following dialog box may appear at startup:

“At least one service or driver failed during system startup. Use Event Viewer to examine the event log for details.”

11.Reboot the system.

12.After the system has rebooted, log on as a user with Administrative account.

IMPORTANT: Check that the dual system is configured properly. (Confirm STATUS LED 2 of each PCI module are illuminates in green on the front panel of the machine.)

13.Duplicate the LAN again for both onboard and option boards.

Configure the LAN based on the memo.

14.Enable the configuration for boot monitoring function. Enable [Boot Monitoring] selected in [Monitoring Configuration] of [Advanced]. See “Step 11: Enable Boot Monitoring Function” on page 4-47 for details.
