-No optional boards should be installed in the PCI modules at this time. If there are optional boards installed in the PCI modules, please abort the installation process, power down the system
and remove the optional boards. Afterwards power on the system and restart the intallation process.
Caution: The installation process will not complete properly if there are optional boards installed in the PCI modules.

7.“Important 2” message will appear.
Read the message and follow the instructions.
*** Important Notice 2
-Only the first Hard Disk Drive (slot 1 of the active PCI module) should be inserted.
If there is more than one Hard Disk Drive inserted in the active PCI module, please abort the installation process, power down the system and remove all Hard Disk Drives except for the Hard Disk Drive inserted into slot 1 of the active PCI module.
Caution: If you continue installing with multiple Hard Disk Drives inserted, the installation process may not be able to properly determine the system drive and incorrect installation and/or loss of data may result.

8.“Important 3” message will appear.
Read the message and follow the instructions.
*** Important Notice 3
-Confirm that there are no optional SCSI devices
such as tape devices connected to the external rear SCSI connectors
If there are optional SCSI devices connected to the external rear SCSI connectors, terminate the installation process and remove the devices, and then restart the installation process.
Caution: When optional SCSI devices are connected to the external rear SCSI connectors, the installation process will not complete properly.
