4.2.8.2. Filtering MAC Address

MAC address ﬁltering allows the switch to drop unwanted trafﬁc. Trafﬁc is ﬁltered based on the destination addresses.

In this page users can add /modify /delete a MAC address ﬁlter.

Add filter MAC address

1. Press <Add> > <Edit> key to add a MAC address ﬁlter.

2.MAC Address: Type the MAC address to ﬁlter.

3.Vlan ID: If tag-based (802.1Q) VLAN are set up on the switch, type the VID to associate with the MAC address.

4.Press Ctrl+A to go back to the action menu line, and then select <Save> to save all conﬁgured values.
