To connect the HotSync cable:
1.Turn off your computer.
2.Plug the HotSync cable into a serial (COM) port on your computer.
Note: Your HotSync cable requires a dedicated port. It cannot share a port with an internal modem or other device. If you are unsure of the exact location of the serial port, refer to the manual supplied with your computer.
