6When you release the Side button, select one of the following:

Plays the voice message

Erases the voice message and refreshes the screen so you can rerecord the message

Sends the voice message

Sending a text message

1Press the Side button to go to PTT.

2Highlight the contact or group you want to send the text message to.

3Press Right to open the pop-up menu.

4Select Text Message.

5Enter the text.

6Select Send.

NOTE When you address a text message to a group that contains more than ten members, the text message is sent only to the first ten members in the group.

Sending a Call-Me alert

1Press the Side button to go to PTT.

2Highlight the contact you want to send the Call-Me alert to.

3Press Right to open the pop-up menu.

4Select Call-Me Alert.

DID YOU KNOW? A tone sounds every ten seconds until the recipient answers the alert or six minutes elapse, whichever occurs first.

Viewing messages

You can view all your PTT alerts and deferred invitations in one place.

1Press the Side button to go to PTT.

2Press Menu .

3Select Options and then select

Message Center.

4Do any of the following:

•To acknowledge and delete an individual item, check the box next to the item and select Clear.
