Each quick button opens two applications:

•To open a button’s primary application, simply press the button.

	Xpress Mail or
	Messaging

NOTE The first time you press Messaging , a dialog box appears in which you

can select the primary application (see Assigning an application to the Messaging button).

•To open a button’s secondary application, press Option and then press the quick button.

Assigning an application to the Messaging button

The first time you press the Messaging button, you are asked to select the primary application for the button from the available email and messaging applications. For more information on each of these applications, see Your email and other messages.

1Press Messaging .

2Select the application you want this button to open. You can select Xpress Mail or Messaging (text and multimedia messages).

You can change the primary application at any time (see Reassigning buttons).
