Chapter 4 Adjustments and Settings for Recording — Viewfinder status display

Waveform monitor function

A waveform of the video can be displayed by assigning the waveform monitor function to the <USER> buttons (<USER MAIN>/<USER1>/<USER2>) and pressing the assigned <USER> buttons (<USER MAIN>/<USER1>/<USER2>). Press the button again to return to the normal display.

ffThe waveform and vector displays can be switched by the [WFM] item (page 126) on the setting menu [SW MODE] screen. ffThis is not displayed while the focus assist function [EXPANDED] is activated.

ffThe waveform display cannot be recorded.
