To verify the VITC user’s bit, set the DISPLAY switch to UB, and hold down the HOLD button. While the HOLD button is held down, the VITC user’s bit information appears on the counter display.

This indicates the number of frames recorded.
When the frame rate has been set to 24 fps and recording has been performed for 10 seconds, “0240” will be displayed as the count. When recording is started, the count is reset to “0000,” and the number of recorded frames per cut is counted up to “9999.”
