Time Zone/Summer Time Tab Field Descriptions

You can configure an automatic summer time (daylight savings time) time change.

Configure the following parameters:

Time Zone Name

The name of the time zone to be displayed during standard time.

 

Field Format: Maximum 4 characters and minimum 3 characters (do not use

 

angled brackets < >)

Time Zone Offset

The offset from UTC for your local time zone.

 

Field Format: Hours hh (valid -12 to +14) and minutes mm (valid 0 to 59

 

minutes)

Summer Time

The name of the configured summer time zone; this will be displayed during

the summer time setting. If this parameter is not set, then the summertime

 

feature will not work.

 

Field Format: Maximum 4 characters and minimum 3 characters (do not use

Summer Time

The offset from standard time in minutes. Valid values are 0 to 180.

Range: 0-180

 

Default: 60

Summer Time

You can configure the summer time to take effect:

Mode

z None—No summer time change.

 

z Fixed—The summer time change goes into effect at the specified time

 

every year. For example, April 15 at 1:00 pm.

 

z Recurring—The summer time changes goes into effect every year at same

 

relative time. For example, on the third week in April on a Tuesday at 1:00

 

pm.

 

Default: None

Fixed Start Date

Sets the exact date and time in which the IOLAN’s clock will change to

 

summer time (daylight saving time) hours.

Fixed End Date

Sets the exact date and time in which the IOLAN’s clock will end summer time

 

hours and change to standard time.
