Cleaning the discs

Somemalfunctions (frozen ordistorted picture and brokensound for
example)may be dueto dirt on thedisc. To avoid such problems,you
shouldclean your discs regularly.
Dirtydiscs should be cleanedwith a softcloth. Always wipe from
themiddle to the edge.
Donot useany solvents such asbenzine, thinners, commercially
availablecleaning agents, or antistatic sprays designed for vinyl
records.
CanI use a CD lens cleaner in the DVD recorder?
Sincethe optical unit(laser) of the DVDrecorder operates at a higher
powerlevel than the ones in normal DVD and CD players, such CD lens
cleanerdiscs may actuallydamage the optical unit (laser).
Therefore,refrain from using aCD lenscleaner disc!
