Playing a DVD+RW/ +R disc
1If the disc is write-protected or a finalised DVD+R disc, playback
startsautomatically.

Youcan also use the DOWN or UP button on the front.
With N,Oyoucan jump to the begin or the end of the

Playing an audio CD
Youcan alsouse the DVD recorder to play audio CDs
If the TVis on,the audio CD screen appears automatically.
Duringplayback, the current track number and its elapsed playing time
willshow on the TV screen and on the recorder display.

Playing an MP3 CD
MP3(MPEG1 Audio Layer-3) files are highly compressed music files.
Usingthis technologythedata volume canbe compressed by a factor
of10. This means it is possible to record 10 hours of music in CD
qualityon a singleCD-ROM.
Whencreating MP3 CDs please note the following:
Filesystem: ISO9660
Directorystructure: maximum of 8levels
Formats:*.mp3
Filenames:maximum of 12characters (8+3)
Maximumof 32 albums, 999 titles
Supportedsampling frequencies: 32, 44.1,48 (kHz). Music with
samplingfrequencies other than these will be skipped.
Supportedbit rates: 32, 64, 96, 128, 192, 256 (kbit/s)
ID3 Tag:Version 1,1.1. In later versions the directory name is
displayedas the album and the filename as the title.
Importantnotes for playback:
Onlythe firstsession of a multi-session CD will play back.
